Our videography services cover the full spectrum of equine training and presentation media, family events such as reunions and weddings, sporting events, corporate events and training, product videos for DVD and web, and Christian worship media.

Outdoor Videography
As is the case with photography, natural light videography looks best when captured in the mid-morning or late afternoon light. We offer a full range of professional lighting solutions to augment natural light, but it's best to start with the highest quality natural light and only supplement as needed - first with reflectors and then if necessary with artificial lighting.

Our preference for any outdoor project is to book a half day and start in the morning hours, and then if needed continue in the afternoon hours. If the demands of the project dictate that the lighting needs to be consistent shot to shot, we prefer to book a series of half days and complete the shoot over several mornings.

Because of this we reserve noon time appointments or bad weather days for studio or enclosed location videography such as green screen VFX (visual Effects) shots or for events that are prescheduled for a particular time, such as equine arena shoots or corporate events.

Indoor Videography
Appointment times for indoor videography are totally dependent on the timing of the event. We can provide any auxillary lighting that may be needed. For most indoor venues we do prefer to setup at a minimum a three point lighting system if possible. This works well for events such as corporate meetings or vendor presentations, for instance - but not so well for events such as weddings where lighting equipment at the ends of the stage would disrupt the cermenony.

Rest assured we tailor our lighting solutions for the event appropriately. In cases where lighting equipment would be disruptive to an audience we will simply make the best of what we have and shoot with longer exposure times and adjust the video in post production.

Because of the longer setup times for venues that require auxillary lighting, we prefer to book video sessions in a minimum of half day blocks. This is more cost effective for our customers as we discount our ad-hoc hourly pricing for half day and full day sessions.

Studio Videography
Studio sessions can be scheduled for anytime.

Because of the ability to precisely control lighting and other factors such as wind, sound, etc. studio videography lends itself to shots that require static lighting for the duration of the shoot (such as news, training, or corporate communication videos) and VFX (Video Effects) shots (such as greenscreen, unnatural dramatic lighting or airflow, or pyrotechnic shots).

Videography Rate Card
Our videography services are offered in two different forms: hourly pricing and block pricing (half day and full day).

Video editing and rendering, compositing and special effects, and DVD creation are billed at different hourly rates. Please see below.

Footage delivery is offered in three different forms: downloadable files in Quicktime format, Quicktime format files on CD or DVD in data format (depending on the size of the files), and fully customized video DVDs suitable for playback on consumer DVD players.

Hourly Videography
Travel Fee:  $45.00 for travel to areas outside of the immediate Aubrey, Pilot Point, Tioga area.
Ad-hoc Hourly Rate:  $150.00/hr (minimum 1 hour).

Block Photography
Video block rates are based on a 10 hour day at a discounted hourly rate of 130.00/hr
Travel Fee:  $45.00 for travel to areas outside of the immediate Aubrey, Pilot Point, Tioga area.
Half Day Rate:  $650.00 with additional time billed at the full 150.00/hr rate in 15 minute increments.
Full Day Rate:  $1000.00 with additional time billed at the full 150.00/hr rate in 15 minute increments.

Video Editing and Rendering
Video editing includes:

• Transferring video from the camera into our nonlinear editing system
• Editing the video for color balance, exposure, brightness and contrast, and duration
• Piecing together the different shots captured during a session into a cohesive whole
• Audio editing to remove noise or to clean up and accentuate certain sounds, such as vocals
• Rendering finished video and audio out of the nonlinear editing system into Quicktime format files

Compositing and Special Effects
Compositing and special effects include:

• Combining greenscreen footage with a background (still or motion) through a mask to produce fully composited video
• Combining one or more sets of regular footage into a fully composited whole through cropping, scaling, color correcting, shadowing, image tracking, and masking.
• Adding any combination of video filters or VFX (Video Effects) shots to footage in order to produce completed video.

DVD Creation
DVD Creation includes:

• Setting chapter markers in the video clips so they can be used for chapter selection in the DVD
• DVD Main Menu, Chapter Selection, and Special Features creation
• Rendering the project to single or dual layer DVD for customer delivery

Footage Delivery
Footage Delivery includes:

• Making video files available on our website for customer download
• Burning video files to CD or DVD in data format (depending upon customer requirements and/or video file size)
• Mailing a data CD, data DVD, or video DVD (creation rates priced above) to the customer provided address
